Congratulations to Manchester Metropolitan University, which has won the Student Experience Award, sponsored by QAA as part of the Guardian University Awards.

The award ceremony, which took place on 27 February, followed the Guardian Higher Education Summit, also sponsored by QAA. The Summit featured David Willetts, Minister of State (Universities and Sciences) and Les Ebdon, Director, Office For Fair Access as the keynote speakers. One of the Summit's panel discussions was coordinated by QAA student board member Dan Derricott.

The Guardian maintained a live blog of the summit during the day, which can be found here.
